Computing Facilities

  • Wayne State University Grid is a centrally-managed, scalable, Grid-enabled computing system capable of housing and managing research-related projects involving high-speed computation, data management, parallel and distributed computing, grid computing, and other computationally intensive applications. The core Grid services are maintained by the University’s central computing staff at Computing and Information Technology (C&IT).
  • NSF TeraGrid is an open scientific discovery infrastructure combining leadership class resources at eleven partner sites to create an integrated, persistent computational resource.
